Effect
You may offer card rewards to Pael. Every 2 offerings, gain a Relic.
Rating & Analysis
Pael's Wing is a Pael Ancient relic that lets you skip card rewards by "offering" them to Pael, earning a relic for every 2 offerings. It is exceptionally powerful when your deck is already complete or when you want to accumulate relics for relic-stacking strategies.
The Value of Converting Card Rewards to Relics
- Normally, skipping a card reward gives you nothing. With Wing, each skip works toward a free relic.
- Two skips equals one relic. With 5–8 combats per Act, you can earn 2–4 relics in a single Act.
- Relics provide benefits that last the entire run, often making them more valuable than 1–2 specific cards.
- This relic reaches its maximum value when your deck is already built and you don't want to add more cards.
When to Offer vs. When to Take
- Deck is complete and no new cards are needed → offer.
- There's a card in the reward you genuinely want → take it.
- The reward contains only weak options → offer and bank toward a relic.
- You don't have to offer everything — flexible judgment is the key.
Character Ratings
| Character | Rating | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Ironclad | A | Once the deck solidifies mid-run, it's easy to stop wanting new cards — relics boost the rest of the run. |
| Silent | A+ | Silent naturally wants a lean deck, so there are many situations where skipping a card is the right call. |
| Defect | A | Once the orb build is complete, additional cards are often unwanted — relics improve everything else. |
| Necrobinder | B+ | Needs cards until summon pieces are assembled, so offering starts later than for other characters. |
| Regent | A | Stacking relics after the deck is finalized is an ideal late-game strategy. |
Synergies
| Card / Relic | Reason |
|---|---|
| Black Star | Elites drop 2 relics, and Wing adds even more — total relic count explodes. |
| Highly refined decks | The more complete the deck, the more often you can offer, accelerating relic gains. |
| Small-deck builds | Wanting to keep the deck thin naturally turns card skips into relic opportunities. |
Strategy Tips
- Assess your deck's completeness before deciding to offer or take.
- In the early game, card adds are usually more important — hold off on offering until mid-run.
- Keep track of the offering count — when you're one offer away from a relic, prioritize skippable rewards.
- Competes with Pael's Tooth (remove 5 cards) in Pool 2. Choose Tooth for deck compression, Wing for relic accumulation.
